OVERVIEW

2026 Team Canada Juniors showcases the esteemed Canadian Men’s U20 (20-time world champions), Men’s U18 (six-time & two-time defending world champions) and Women’s U18 (eight-time world champions) National Teams. This latest edition boasts a variety of substrates, several new sets (including new game-worn memorabilia sets!) and numerous chase cards - all featuring the brightest young talent in Canada!

THE BASE SET

The 150-card Base Set consists of three subsets: 

Base Set (1-70): Players from the Men’s U20 and U18 teams, and the Women’s U18 team.

Base Set Pride of the Program (High Series; 71-100): The best-of-the-best from the three teams.

Program of Excellence (101-150): Players that have made it through Team Canada’s Program of Excellence.

The parallel lineup for the first 100 cards is full of incredible chase cards and caters to a wide variety of collectors, especially player, set, memorabilia and autograph collectors. The stunning and ever-popular Outburst® parallels return and everyone will be chasing the Outburst Red (#’d to 25) and 1-of-1 Outburst Gold versions! There are also classic UD Exclusives® (#’d to 100) and High Gloss® (#’d to 10) parallels, along with the always-coveted Black Signatures (#’d 1-of-1) and Auto Patch (#’d to 150, 99 and 25) parallels. •    Collector-favorite Stature Hockey is back with its elegantly-designed cards on thick, brilliant rainbow foil-like styrene stock!! Sporting a bevy of Veteran, Legend and Rookie cards featuring a hard-signed autograph and/or a game-worn patch swatch, 2025-26 Stature will appeal to high-end, autograph, rookie and player collectors alike. The product consists solely of the Base Set and a multitude of amazing parallels. 

•    The 100-card Base Set contains 50 star and superstar Veterans, 15 Legends and 35 top Rookies. The Legend and Rookie cards are serial-numbered to 999.

THE MOST WIDELY-COLLECTED BASE SET IN HOCKEY INCLUDES THE MOST ANTICIPATED & POPULAR ROOKIE CARDS OF THE SEASON!

Series One sports the first 250 cards of the 2026-27 Upper Deck Base Set. It includes 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns® cards and three checklist cards. The iconic Young Guns® are the season’s most anticipated and popular rookie cards, and the Series One checklist boasts multiple high-end rookies!

•    Collect six (6) Young Guns® cards per box, on average!  

The parallel lineup is loaded with collector favorites and big chase cards! It is headlined by the longtime classics - UD Exclusives® (#’d to 100), High Gloss® (#’d to 10) and Clear Cut - as well as the stunning and wildly popular Outburst® parallels. Each box will contain, on average, one (1) Outburst Silver parallel card, and everyone will be on the hunt for the rarer Outburst Red (#’d to 25) and Outburst Gold (#’d 1-of-1) cards. There are Deluxe (#’d to 250) parallels too!

As longtime Upper Deck Hockey collectors know, there are always some outstanding Base Set Variation sets to collect, highlighted by the long-running and popular Snow Spray Auto variation. That’s not the only one though. On top of that, this latest edition of Series One boasts three new variation sets. We’ll just leave it at that!  

RETURNING COLLECTOR-FAVORITE INSERT SETS

UD Canvas®, a longtime favorite, features a collection of the League’s top stars along with the best of the Young Guns® (6 rookies per case, on average). Series One contains the first 120 cards of this intra-series set. Collect four (4) UD Canvas® cards per box, on average, and keep an eye out for Black & White parallels as well as the Printing Plates that were used to make the UD Canvas® and UD Canvas Young Guns cards!

The Population Count acetate insert is back and with a new look! There are seven different print runs (1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 1) of this popular intra-series set mimicking slabbed cards and featuring top-tier stars and rookies. Everyone will be chasing these cards, especially the lower-print run versions! The final 30 cards of this set will be available in Series Two.

The Dazzlers™ set also returns for another season. These eye-popping cards boast a new design for the 2026-27 season and come in Blue, Pink and Gold versions! This is a 150-card intra-series set, and Series One sports the first 50 cards. The checklist consists of mostly star veterans, but there are a couple rookies sprinkled in! Look for a larger number of rookies in Series Two and Extended Series. Collect, on average, one (1) Blue version per box and one (1) Pink version per case, and if you’re lucky, you’ll pull a much, much rarer Gold version!

The perennial-favorite UD Portraits® set returns for its third season on foilboard and with a new look mimicking movie posters. Series One contains the first 30 cards of this intra-series set and the checklist features veteran stars and top rookies. Aim to complete your 2026-27 UD Portraits® set with Series Two. Keep an eye out for Speckle parallels! 

The Sizzle Reel foilboard set commemorating top highlight reel plays from the 2025-26 season is back! On the back of each card featuring a star player is a QR code that leads you to the video of the highlight reel play. Collect the first 35 cards of this intra-series set and look for Speckle parallels!

RETURNING & SERIES ONE-EXCLUSIVE INSERT SETS

Collect the next 30 cards (HT-61 - HT-90) of the star-studded Holotypes living set. These hologram cards are only available once a season and fall just once in every 3.5 cases, on average. This set is loaded with surefire hits!

Foil. Soft-touch. Gloss coating. Eighteen players. Eighteen designs. After a triumphant debut in 2025-26, the Bootleg set is back! The checklist sees the return of the best players on the planet, and there are some new superstars (and some superstars in the making!) in the mix this season. Every card from this Series One-exclusive set will be coveted and a great addition to any collection! 

NEW INSERT SETS!

As always, Series One features a bevy of exciting new themed insert sets. Here is a look at just some of the sets:

Debut Dates: This set commemorates the debut of 20 top rookies. Each card sports the date of each player’s first game in the League, as well as the opponent. Each card also boasts a photo from that first game.

Here We Go!: This photo-driven set captures star players - who may also be rivals - squaring off in the face-off circle.

•    Both sets - which will only be available in Series One - are printed on foilboard. Each box contains, on average, at least one (1) card from each set. There are also Speckle parallels to collect!

Electric Soul: Everyone is going to love these artistic cards! They are gorgeous. Each features a one-color player image on a team-color background. Oh, and each player will be one of the best in the world!    

Youthful Spirits: This set features 12 superstars (again, the best in the world!) and the backdrop for each is one of 12 original paintings by Presten Warren, an award-winning aboriginal artist and storyteller! Each painting was created solely for this set and features the players’ team colors. This unique and thrilling collaboration has produced a must-have set!  

•    The cards from these two sets boast the same rarity and build as the Bootleg cards!

Stencils: This new stylish set with a deep, colorful parallel lineup is unlike any set you’ve seen before! There is no ink on the front of these cards! Each card front just features a stencil-generated shoulder-up player image, the player’s last name and the Upper Deck logo - all presented in foil only! The first 100 cards of this intra-series set will feature veteran stars and top rookies, and there are at least two players from every team.
