The Immortal Sun God focuses Ra’s powers of eternal rebirth into one Quick-Play Spell Card. This card allows you to Summon “The Winged Drag on of Ra” monsters\, or discard “Sun God” cards to return The Immo rtal Sun God back to your hand. \;

But most important of all\, during each player’s End Phase\, if The Immortal Sun God was sent to your Graveyard this turn – for ANY reason! – Ra’s po wers of rebirth extend to your other “Sun God” monsters\, letting you retu rn Helpoemer\, Chanter of the Sun God / Makyura\, Destructor of th e Sun God / Gil Garth\, Exterminator of the Sun God / Viser Des Shock\, To rmentor of the Sun God from your Graveyard back to your hand. The se four diabolical monsters have all been reimagined with powerful effects centered around the “Sun God” Deck theme.

And for the final blow\ , Marik’s most famous monsters of all have returned as Fusion Monsters: T< strong>he Winged Dragon of Ra\, Sun God of Darkness \;and Lava Golem\, Steelcage of the Sun God! \;

• The first ever DIVINE and Divine-Beast Extra Deck monster\, The Winged Dragon of Ra\, Sun God of Darkness \;is unaffected by other cards’ effects\, and lets you discard “Sun God” cards to eliminate your op ponent’s monsters\, as a Quick Effect. And since it is both a “Winged Drag on of Ra” card AND a “Sun God” card\, it works with other cards that affec t either of those monster groups. \;

• The strongest part of “ Lava Golem” was that you could Tribute your opponent’s monsters to Special Summon it\, and \;Lava Golem\, \;Steelca ge of the Sun God keeps up the heat\, since two of its Fusion Mat erials are face-up monsters from anywhere on the field. This Fusion Monste r lets you Summon it right out of the Extra Deck without even needing to u se “Polymerization”\, so its main advantage over the original “Lava Golem” is that you never have to draw anything in order to use it! \;

\n< p>New Salamangreat Cards! \;

Marik’s monsters aren’t the only place you can find some blazing beasts to burn your oppon ents to ash! Immortal Phoenix also contains new and revamped cards for Sou lburner’s “Salamangreat” Deck.

• Watch your opponent’s plans go up in smoke with two new “Salamangreat” Main Deck monsters. Salamang reat Markhor grabs a “Salamangreat” Spell or Trap when Summoned\, and Summons a FIRE Cyberse monster from your Deck when used as Link Mater ial. Salamangreat Bastella \;is easy to Summon and ca n interfere with your opponent’s Level-dependent plans\, and grab you an e xtra Trap on its way out. \;

• Step into a reimagined version of “Salamangreat Sanctuary”: The Salamangreat Shrine! It has the same effect that allows you to re-Link Summon your “Salamangreat” monsters\, but it also shields your “Salamangreat” monsters from your oppo nent’s FIRE monster effects. And it lets you shuffle “Salamangreat” cards from your hand back into the Deck\, to draw replacement cards. \;

• King of Beasts\, Risen from the Valley of Flames \;is a reimagined “Salamangreat Heatleo” that is always treated as that monster. This Link-3 monster sets the field ablaze and turns everything i nto a FIRE monster – which combines with Salamangreat Shrine to snuff out all your opponent’s monster effects! It also keeps a vari ant of the original “Salamangreat Heatleo” effect\, but now the change is permanent\, the ability is a Quick Effect\, AND you also get to shuffle an opponent’s card from the field into the Deck when you use it! \;

• Sinful Spoi ls of the Winter Raven’s Forest is easy to Summon with the help o f Purifire and has the power to hide monsters on the field or Graveyard in the Spell &\; Trap Zones.
